Restylane and Juvederm dermal fillers safety and efficacy are clinically proven and these fillers are temporary not permanent.

What are Static Wrinkles?

Static wrinkles are the wrinkles and folds that are present at rest or when we are not forming facial expressions. They develop as we get older because natural substances such as collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid that provide the skin structure and volume decrease with age.

How Long do the Effects Last?

The longevity of the results depends on many factors such as patient age, the skin quality and health and lifestyle of the patient, how much product is used and where in the face it has been injected. Most patients should expect results to last up to one year, however this is less for lip volumising and lip enhancement procedures.

What are the Possible Side Effects?

Most common side effects are slight redness, swelling or bruising so avoid taking anti-inflammatory tablets such as aspirin and ibuprofen, or Vitamin E, 48 hours prior to treatment. Most potential side effects are temporary and generally disappear within a few days.

With lip enhancement procedures, lips may remain swollen for several days following treatment.

Contraindications to Treatment

• Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine
• Hypertrophic scarring
• Infection at the proposed injection site
• Pregnancy
• Breast feeding
